THE MIGHTY B-52 BOMBER - PPS PRESENTATION
The Mighty B-52 This is a great set of pics of the greatest military machine ever made and, to date, never allowed to be used to its fullest capability. Had it been allowed, the B-52 could have ended, and won, the Viet Nam War in one week. The world today would be a very different, and more peaceful, place. This Power Point scans a bit faster than I would like but you can back it up with the "right click" button. Most of these pics are of the G & H models but most of the ones with bombs loaded are of the older Ds & Es which I was privileged to fly (about 2000 hours, and 564 in combat ) and some of those were taken on the runway in Guam (Andersen AFB). I flew them out of there, Okinawa and Utapo, Thailand. I read somewhere that not one of the pilots flying these airplanes today were alive (born) before they were built!
